Accepting these terms
These terms cover your use of this website and any work you ask Artisan Epoxy Floors of West Hollywood to quote or perform. By browsing the site, sending us a request or booking a job, you agree to them, so please read them before you do.
If we sign a written agreement or proposal for your job, that document controls wherever it differs from this page. If you don't agree with these terms, please don't use the site, and contact us with any questions first.
What we do
We're a flooring contractor in West Hollywood, CA, working on concrete floors for homes and businesses in West Hollywood and the cities around it. Our work includes epoxy and polyaspartic coatings, polished and stained concrete, overlays, sealing, surface preparation and related jobs, as described across our home page and service pages.
Descriptions, photos and examples on this site show the kind of work we do and aren't a promise of a specific result on your floor. Every slab is different, and what we can do for yours is set out in your estimate and agreement. You can read more about who we are on our About page.
Estimates and pricing
Estimates are free, given at your property and come with no obligation. An estimate is based on what we can see and measure at the visit, including the floor's size, its condition and the system you choose.
Some things only show up once the work starts, such as moisture in the slab, old coatings, hidden cracks or damage under flooring we remove. If we find something that changes the scope or the price, we'll stop, explain it and get your approval in writing before doing extra work.
Prices on an estimate are good for the period written on it. After that, we may need to update the figure because material costs and our schedule change.
Scheduling, rescheduling and cancellation
We schedule your job once you've accepted the estimate and any deposit in your agreement is paid. Start dates are our best plan, and weather, curing times, material delivery or conditions at the site can move them, in which case we'll tell you as early as we can.
You need to give us clear access to the work area, power and water where the job needs them, and the room emptied unless we agreed to move things. If we arrive and can't start because the area isn't ready, we may need to reschedule.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, call us at (213) 329-1493 or reach us through our contact page as soon as you can. Your written agreement explains how cancellations work for your job, including any materials already ordered for it, and nothing here limits any right to cancel that the law gives you.
Payment
Payment amounts, due dates and accepted methods are set out in your written agreement. Final payment is due when the work is complete as described in that agreement.
If a payment is late, we may pause work until it's made, and you may be responsible for reasonable costs of collecting what's owed, as far as California law allows.
Our work and warranties
We're licensed and insured, and our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. If something about the finished floor isn't right, call us and we'll come look at it and make it right where the problem comes from our work.
Coatings and finishes perform best when they're used and cared for the way we and the product maker explain. Our guarantee doesn't cover damage from misuse, impacts, harsh chemicals, standing water, settling or movement in the slab, moisture coming up through the concrete that wasn't found at the estimate, or work done by others.
Any written warranty on your agreement, and any warranty a product maker gives, applies as written. Apart from those and our guarantee, and as far as the law allows, our work and this website are provided without other warranties, express or implied.
Limits on our liability
As far as California law allows, Artisan Epoxy Floors of West Hollywood isn't responsible for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost income or the cost of using another space while a floor cures. Our total responsibility for any claim about a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.
Information on this site is general and may change without notice. We aren't responsible for decisions you make based on it alone, so please ask us about your own floor before relying on anything you read here. Nothing in this section limits liability that the law doesn't let a business limit.
Resolving a disagreement
If you're unhappy with anything, please call us or write to us first, because most problems get settled faster with a conversation and a visit. We'll respond and work with you in good faith to fix it.
If we can't settle it between us, either of us may take the matter to small claims court or to the courts in Los Angeles County, California, unless your written agreement says otherwise.
Which law applies
These terms and any work we do are governed by the laws of the State of California, where our business is based.
Changes to these terms
We may update this page from time to time, and the version posted here applies from the day it's posted. Changes don't affect a written agreement you've already signed with us.
Questions about these terms
If anything here isn't clear, call us at (213) 329-1493 or send a message through our contact page, and we'll explain it. You can expect a reply within 1 business day.
